Do I need this document?
Select your nationality to see exactly where you stand.
Information current for 2026. A small number of travelers are exempt (accredited diplomats, official delegations, and holders of a 9(e) visa or diplomatic/official passport) — this declaration is otherwise required regardless of nationality or visa status.
A declaration, not a visa
Philippines eTravel brings your travel, health, and customs details together in a single online submission — but does not replace a visa if your nationality requires one.
Replaces paper arrival & departure cards
The old paper arrival, departure, and health declaration cards are now submitted online, before you fly, instead of on paper at the airport.
Not a visa
An e-visa, visa, or visa exemption is still arranged separately if your nationality needs one.
Prepared ahead of time
Your application is prepared in advance so your QR code is ready well before you travel.

What is eTravel Philippines?
Officially the Philippine one-stop electronic travel declaration system, it is the mandatory online record for travelers flying into or out of the Philippines. Launched by the Bureau of Immigration together with the Bureau of Customs and the Department of Health, it replaces the paper arrival card, departure card, and health declaration form that used to be filled in by hand, letting officers retrieve your passport, flight, accommodation, and customs details electronically instead.
You may also see this called Philippines eTravel, the eTravel Pass, the eTravel card, the Philippines arrival card, or simply the Philippines eTravel registration — these all refer to the same online submission, managed through the Philippines' official one-stop travel portal.
Who currently needs a Philippines eTravel registration
eTravel applies to all foreign nationals arriving in the Philippines and to Filipino citizens departing or returning from abroad, including crew members and cruise ship passengers, and children aged 3 and over. Only a small number of travelers are exempt: accredited diplomats and their dependents, official state visitors and delegations, and holders of a 9(e) visa or a diplomatic/official passport.
Philippines eTravel vs. a visa
eTravel is not a visa. Whether you need a visa, an e-visa, or qualify for visa-free entry depends entirely on your nationality and length of stay — that requirement exists alongside eTravel, not instead of it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it replace my visa?
No. It is a mandatory travel declaration, but it does not replace a visa or e-visa, which must still be arranged separately depending on your nationality.
Do Filipino citizens need to complete it too?
Yes. Philippine passport holders must complete eTravel when departing the Philippines or returning from abroad. Accredited diplomats, official delegations, and holders of a 9(e) visa or diplomatic/official passport are exempt.
Do children need to complete eTravel too?
Yes. The declaration also covers children aged 3 and over, as well as crew members and cruise ship passengers.
Is there an eTravel app?
The official process runs through the government's eTravel website and its eGovPH mobile app. This site is a guided, web-based service for travelers who would rather have their form checked and their application followed up for them.
Can the declaration be completed directly on the official portal?
Yes. The declaration can be completed directly, without an intermediary, on the official one-stop travel portal. This site offers a paid, guided service for travelers who prefer support with the process.
I'm a UK, US, or Australian citizen — do I still need Philippines eTravel?
Yes. The requirement applies regardless of nationality or visa-exempt status when arriving in the Philippines; being visa-exempt for short stays does not exempt you from this separate declaration.
When should I complete this document?
Ideally within the 72 hours before you travel, so your flight and accommodation details stay accurate and up to date.
Can I download or save my QR code?
Yes. Once submitted, your QR code is emailed to you — it is recommended to save it to your phone and keep a printed backup.
